In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Content

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
